the fabric sellers

bread sellers

fruit sellers

value how they address

those who come on their way to work

-

here, dawn call prayer is heard five times a day.

open palm passers-by feed the stray cats

who laze on their side, in the shadows

all day lunch breaks.

by nightfall the young dress up

for the young

move in good fashion underground

towards their future.
