Back at it

Waking dog tired from the last night

Unable to face the flesh of one’s own flesh.

Coffee and dry toast. Leave with the dawn rise.

Took a shower in the rain on the way to work.

Puddles splashed at the ankles until feet soaked.

Lap dogs in tartan jackets carried under arm
