it’s true, I did

yeah I did say words,

sonnet regrets that soon enough,

hit like six too many beers.

and yeah,

now I’m alone on an island

(metaphorically)

with blue as my only view.

-

in solitude, sonic calm

after survival of stormy weather.

later will come a barely audible—

let’s move on.

calm eyes always remind

of Opium Wars.
