sluggers unfed and parched 
gloves worn by the scar faced
under bright lights 
the crowd mob in, ready for blood canvas. 

trip gong bell, rung by a bow tie 
the chosen two stand alone, squared circle 
come together: one, two, three
champion bones break in pursuit 
of a legal ending.
