time to get out

not quite the same

anymore. But where?

a two pair stare, as if

they don’t know each other anymore.

acceptance outruns their good fortune.

they remember again what built the other

jigsaw pieces.

what misses them

breathes out.

a curtainless room

tall milky way ceilings where emptiness dares reveal

acoustics. still wishes, they roll up

a carpet, wave go…
