the time is now | an update

Hello Everyone,

Over the past fifteen months, I have been dropping free weekly posts of fiction, poetry, essays, readings, and podcast. And what a fun endeavour it has been to create stories for my readership. Your comments, likes and feedback continue to inspire my work on a daily basis—thank you.

An update: this week I decided to offer a paid subscription—but fear not, you will still receive free posts, and your subscription does not change unless you choose to support.

If you do decide to support then expect exclusive access to the full archive, comments, and of course posts on a weekly basis. Free posts will be less frequent but still come 😊  

So, why am I going paid? Well, as a writer of poetry and fiction for twenty years let me assure you—it is not solely for the income. Making money from your art should never be the goal when creating, and lord knows the bar jobs and factory lines, retail and farmhand gigs put more food in my gut than any poem I put down.

I decided to offer a paid subscription because I have a poetry collection and novella to offer to those who wish to support larger bodies of work. Also, literary magazines, anthologies, and ezines publish some of my works from time to time and often ask for exclusivity.

And to be fully transparent, there has been a lot of content published over the past fifteen months and I think some of this should now go to the portion of my subscription base who are willing to take a more specific literary journey—one that encompasses a fuller body of work, one supposes.

Think of a paid subscription as an album and the continued free posts as singles.

Your support and readership matter most and always will. But if you do choose to support—a million kisses and eternal appreciation. A request: please share my newsletter on a platform if you can—a shoutout goes a long way, as seen in my recent growth of the past few months.  I wouldn’t and perhaps couldn’t do this so regularly without you all.
