when in presence
between us a blonde heat, rises
from the wet skin touch
of pink cheek lovers.
breathless composure, equal joy.
*
in absence, of otherness
plumes of thought drift—
spring breeze rises.
a touch of cherry blossom.
*
degrees of love
as uncountable—shingle beach.
ivy, protect the wild at heart.
*
in your absence, cobwebs cover
iron bedposts, cold infinite—
ageless, static as time.
*
white silk thoughts
about one another,
nostalgic for a single entity.
*
beyond our reach, stars fall
shoot, across galaxies.
and I wait for you, still as patience
to come back and be us.
Beautifully written! Warms my hear! Hope the love story ends well!
